After relocating to Thailand, Jonas found the ideal environment to develop his creative vision in collaboration with a highly skilled production team trained in advanced Japanese techniques. Founder & Creative Director Peter Boonsermsung is the Founder and Creative Director of LeatherO, leading the brand with a clear vision rooted in craftsmanship, material expertise, and timeless design. With over 20 years of experience in furniture and interior design in Bangkok, Peter combines creative direction with strategic insight. He holds a degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s degree in Business Management from Penn State University, enabling him to bridge artistic sensibility with structured business thinking. Raised within his family’s tannery business, he developed a deep understanding of leather — from pattern development and color curation to material innovation. This foundation continues to shape LeatherO’s identity, where craftsmanship and refined aesthetics are inseparable. Under his leadership, LeatherO has evolved into a design-driven studio supported by strong production capabilities, delivering furniture and interior solutions defined by precision, quality, and enduring elegance.
